Wow ! The last two weeks could potentially be a big blur if it wasn't for the mere fact that it was sooooo much fun. Fourth of July weekend was packed with fireworks, bbqs, shopping, graduations with our dear, dear cousins from Florida! It was so nice to be with so much of our family in one place at one time. We've been lucky this year that we've gotten to see them twice! We miss them already and can't wait until we are together again. My cousins and I - especially the girls - are a tight bunch. So it was nice for all of our kids ranging from the age of 18 through 3 years old to spend the time together like we did as kids. I don't think that we managed to get a group shot of all of them =(. Here's a few from that weekend:
Then there was the wedding. Rehearsal dinner --- fabulous. Wedding - unforgettable. My two little flower girls....beautiful. The bride and groom - stunning. Meet the new Mr. & Mrs. Parra. Troy is my cousin's oldest son. I was twelve when he was born! In the 6th, grade. I totally remember the day he was born. I've always loved this kid. He's not a kid anymore. He's a man. A manly man. Married now to sweet Nicole. Love her! The kids adore them both. They love the kids. Troy is Daniela's godfather. Here are the beauties...
The young groom & bride.
My Babes!
The back of their dresses! And the wedding favor below. Instead of giving each guest a favor - they did this! The heart pin is a bookmark. We were so incredibly touched by this idea. When I saw it the day of the wedding it made me cry.
Lastly, our attempt of the family picture....kind of a riot!
Minus Casey and Dan who are affectionately referred to as the gringoes...they were taking the photo! Really such a fun wedding. Such a great couple. They are so happy to be together. I wish them eternal bliss!
Oh and one last picture from a weekend with my friend Oksana and her family....I just love this kid! She is just so fresh! Does she look good or what. And yes , she is doing fantastic. Perfectly healthy. Still on all her meds and spinal taps but god bless her - she is doing great! Next week is our next visit...next cycle - her 4th cycle. So it's a spinal tap....Daddy is taking her. I think he needs his dose of reality.
Fran!!! You look amazing in that wedding photo - gorgeous! The girls are adorable - love their flower girl dresses. So glad everyone's doing well and that Daniela is great. She's a trooper! Gonna call you later - need to catch up!
Love ya -

Tati -- Thanks so much for everything! Christina and Daniela were the little angels of the wedding! They looked so beautiful and they were so well-behaved. After looking at our pictures, it seems that they, or I should say, you all had a ton of fun dancing at the reception! Thank you for your kind words in your blog. I'm so happy to be a part of your family! Give hugs and kisses to my little divas! Love ya!
